Notes:
Direct fusion of N-terminal domain of I-DmoI and one subunit of I-CreI, with an artificial linker and computationally derived mutations in the domain interface. First described in Chevalier et al. (2002) Molecular Cell 10 : 895 - 905. Also termed (incorrectly) "E-DreI" and later "H-DreI". We now recommend using hybrid names (i.e. "Dmo/Cre" or I-DmoI/I-Cre" to reflect the construction of a chimeric LHE. PDB ID Code 1MOW
